IS IT REALLY THAT DIFFICULT TO FIND A DECENT MOBILE SOFTWARE PACKAGE FOR RMS.
I HAVE TRIED NEW WEST IT CAN NOT HANDLE LARGE DATABASES WHAT ARE THE OTHER OPTIONS?
FOR SUCH A WIDELY USED POS PACKAGE AS RMS YOU WOULD EXPECT THERE WOULD BE PLENTY TO CHOOSE FROM!
ANY BODY HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS.

There are a whole bunch of different mobile solutions, and have been for years. We even worked with eNabler corp to complete the pilot project for their award-winning eMobile POS/RMS integration last year (it's plug-and-play now). They all have different features and purposes, methods of implementation, and work with different devices. There are many different venues where users will want to use Mobile - what is the exact environment you need it for in this first instance?

Have you tried a netbook, ultrabook or a tablet?
Any of them run the full version of RMS without issue. Hook up a bluetooth scanner and a portable printer with a swipe and that gives you full credit card POS capabilites.
What are you looking to do? I'm using "Cloud Retailer" on my Android devices (phone and tab). It shows you sales for the current day (or you can select previous days/times). It also shows a graph with sales by departments. But that's about all it does. It's handy to check in on sales if you are out.
