Activities tab is showing under the Related, how can I fix this tab on form?

Hi All,

I have a requirement where I want to add the Activities Tab on Contact form which should be all time visible not inside the Related Tab.
For that I am using the OOB Activities Tab but this is under the "Related", I want it to move from related to Contact form.

For this I have tried to create new Custom Activity Grid but this grid is not giving all the features like OOB activity grid.

So is there any way to move it from related to the form for all time visibility?

I think the option to keep tab expanded is not available for related entities.

The option is available on "Tabs" to set "Expand this tab by default". This will keep the tab always open in context.

You can create a new tab labeled "Activities" and add the Subgrid pointing to "Activities" entity based on regarding field in this new tab.

By doing this you can achieve most of the functionality. However you wont get the advance search like functionality that you get on top of OOTB activities tab.

Most of the ribbon functions should still function similar to that of OOTB tab.
