In which module will i find the Payroll
If you are using NAV, you need to buy an add-on. e.g. Serenic.
if you are using dynamics ax 2012, in which module you will find the Payroll module on left side or you can drop down command bar(link bar) there will be list of module ,so you can select your require module from there.

I don't know which Dynamics product are you using. Please find the below mentioned details for the Business Portal,Dynamics SL, Dynamics GP.
If you are using Dynamics SL business portal, you can see the pat roll on the menu itself.
If you are using Dynamics SL, you can see the Payroll & Advanced Payroll under Financial module
If you are using Dynamics GP, you can see the HRMS & Payroll module.

Can you elaborate on the specific Dynamics product you are working with?
Most of the ERP solutions with have a distinct Human Resources/Payroll module(s).
