Hi
I have stated to use this new feature but for my firm it would be useful to have the documents saved in a CRM location on the account record automatically. Is this possible to do or is it manual upload?

if its a custum entity then you enable business process flows and check if you get the target correctly. I had the same issue and it turns out to be some issue. the workaround was to enable business process flows on thethe custum entity

We have very nearly got it working but struggling to get the doc to save on the record we require. In our CRM we have an bespoke account entity and I have set up a template against fields for it. We have a field that updates to a value 'online' that is the trigger for the welcome letter. The routine says all is successful but we cannot find where it is saved for the life of us when we want it saved in the account record we are working in.
I believe we are not getting the target quite correct when setting the SETWORDTEMPLATE input properties.
Any ideas would be welcomed, thanks in advance.

When you call the perform action step in workflow, it will generate and save the record in notes for the specified entity.

Thanks for your reply but none of these talk about auto saving a document generated and populated with record specifics against the record for future reference. Failing the ability to do this is there an entity that records an an audit trail to say it was generated at very least?

You can you OOB Word templates for your account entity. You can either generate it manuall or uou can automate these as well.
