NAV 2018; We have configured the workflows needed to enable the purchase order approvals. When a USER A creates a purchase order and requests the approval, USER B receives an email notification.
Was wondering, is there any standard way to enable that when USER B approves the order, USER A receives an email notification as well?
Well, I don't think this is a case of "unnecessary emails". How is the user supposed to know if an approval request has been accepted or rejected? Right now they have to be manually checking every 5 minutes. Imagine when you have 30 purchase orders awaiting approval by different managers.
It's ridiculous that this part is not included in the standard workflow IMO.
I don't think it is available in standard. I have heard that the intention is to remove unnecessary emails to the user.
It shouldn't be that difficult to customize NAV to send approval email notification.
