How can I attach a sales order to a sales agreement after I created the sales order in AX2012?

I created a sales order, but after creating I realised I needed to create it from a sales agreement. How can I link the created sales order afterwards?

I see the button "make attachment" under Update line/Sales agreement, but it is greyed out in my sales order.

And can you give me more technical information? I'm not a programmer, but my colleague is, so maybe he can fix it with your tech info.

Hi Bob,

As per my understanding for this case you have to do some data patching

using which you need establish the link between sales Order and Sales Agreement

you need to find out the relation between Sales Agreement and sales order tables

Please verify and update us if you need more technical information

Did you ever receive any answers on this. We are having the same problem in R3.

I saw a blog post that suggested that the link could only be created at the header level ( so the update line function would likely not work ).

I have tried a number of things to accomplish this with no luck.
