Switching retail offline database from sql express to sql standard

Hope you all are doing well !!!
 
Basically in our project we are moving the retail offline database from sql express to sql standard. After doing all configuration and full sync of offline database, we noticed that the size of offline database in sql standard is 38 Gb while in sql express it is 10Gb. We are confused here about the size.
 
If anyone has done this previously, please suggest.
