RE: Consent for different business lines marketing campaigns
Hi Fariha,
We are planning to introduce new features with our November 2022 release to Design consent to match brand and compliance needs. The release plan notes have more detail, but the functionality will allow you to:
- Create and manage topics for customers to opt-in to marketing subscriptions.
- Create topics and preferences centers that align with your brands and business units.
- Real-time marketing automatically enforces consent and topic checks without the need to create and manage subscription lists of contacts or leads.
- Configure real-time marketing preferences centers that represent your brand's look and feel with new logo, style, and color options.
Another option may be to create business units within your organization. You can check out this article for more information on Business Units and how to enable them if appropriate: Create or Edit Business Units. Once enabled, the Use business units to control access to Marketing records article explains how to structure your business units for marketing purposes.
Based on your description of what you’re trying to accomplish, you may need to disable Scoping for your business units to enable marketers to send communications to users across different business units. When scoping is disabled for your instance, all segments are scoped at the organization level, regardless of who created or owns them, which means that they can include contacts belonging to all business units.
