Power BI Integration Failed "The authentication process was not successful. Please contact your system administrator."

I have configured and followed the steps laid out here (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/unified-operations/dev-itpro/analytics/configure-power-bi-integration) and tried to integrate with my D365 Ops environment, but after I click to authorize the Power BI integration on the last step, I just receive the error "The authentication process was not successful. Please contact your system administrator." and that something went wrong.

I don't see any errors or issues and have tried multip,e other suggestions online related to changing the Azure AD tenant ID to the directory ID and back to the actual domain itself, but both have the same problem.

It would be nice, at the very least, to have some more information in the message or where I can determine what it is not liking in the configuration.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would recommend doing the following:

    1. Close all browsers

    2. Open incognito window in browser

    3. Log in to powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us  as your account

    4. Log in in to AX

    5. Try to authorize again.
