Management Reporter 2012 - Problem with export to Excel

We are using Management Reporter 2012.

When exporting a report to Excel file we have following error:

Excel found unreadable content in 'filename.xlsx'. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes.

After we click yes, it repairs errors and in 3 cells where we have percentage numbers it shows 0.000000000000000000000000 instead of 0.00%. When checking format of the cells, the warning exclamation sign says that cell should be converted from txt to number.

Please, help with the problem.

Hello all, I arrived to this question because a customer of mine was experiencing the same Issue.

The short version is: go to the column layout specifically on the columns where the values are being converted to 0.00000000000000000000000% and click on the column format window cell, choose the correct format and apply to the column, for me I changed it from ###0.00;(###0.00) to ###0.00%;(###0.00%) on all the affected columns and problem disappeared.
