My Requirement is to redirect to a CRM Entity Record from the Portal Entity List Details Grid.

I have added the URL as below:

details.PNG

But Still When I am Clicking on that details button in the Portal it is redirecting to a portal page with this parameters like :

https://ourCRM.microsoftcrmportals.com/main.aspx?etc=12345&pagetype=entityrecord&id=someguid and giving an Error Page Not Found.

Is It possible to redirect to CRM Page From Portal. If so, Can You Please help me where I am Wrong?

    Hi Samhitha,

According to my knowledge, we can not redirect to CRM Page from Portal.

The CRM users need to purchase License for CRM while the portal users don't need.

Therefore, portal users include internal users and external users.

You could create a new page with the data you need in portal.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards

    Leo

    Hi,

I just did a quik try and got the same behaviour i.e. it is opening portal url with the id query string parameter. It look like a bug to me but unfortunately the official documentation doesn't say anything about using the target type as URL so it is possible that it is not supported in Dynamic 365 Portals.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../add-webpage-render-list-records

You can contact Microsoft Support to get the confirmation on this.

    https://admin.dynamics.com

    Hope this helps.
