Making Tax Digital Problem

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi all,

I have been trying to set-up a sandbox application, but seem to run into an obstacle, and I have no idea on how to fix it.

I have created an application on HMRC:

I also have the application subscriptions:

In AX (2012 R3), I have the following parameters / applications:

4604.4.PNG3146.5.PNG

I can generate the Test User data, and get the credentials.

3146.6.PNG

I am then redirected to the Test API service, and I can log in with the credentials.

3146.7.PNG

As soon as I try to Grant authority, instead of getting the authorization code, I get the following error.

6761.8.PNG

Has anyone experienced the same issue, or does anyone know how to resolve this?

Any help is deeply appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Ludwig,

Thank you for the reply, in the meantime, I figured out the problem myself, it was quite stupid really.

In the error screen, the authorization code was actually in the URL itself...

    Hello Seorb_T,

There is a webinar available on the AXUG user group website that details how to configure this setup in AX2012.

Please have a look at this webinar if you have acess.

If you don't and/or if the webinar does not help then please open a support case with MS directly; they should be able to provide you with some help how to get this fixed quickly.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
