How to add dimension values to ledgerdimension from code

I have a setuptable, where i store a ledgerDimension - only the mainAccount

When I perform a certain activity I create a record in ledgerJournalTrans with this ledgerDimension - that works fine.

I then want to add a dimensionvalue to the ledgerjournalTrans.ledgerdimension and that I can't figure out.

If I enter the ledgerdimension in the form i can see the correct result.

I can enter account---<MYDIM> (10103---BRO) without any problem

but how can do that in code ?
