Send email when Leave Request is...

Hi,

Does D365 Human Resources module enable email notifications? I want, for example, that when a user submits a new leave request, the person responsible for the approval should receive an email. I've tried to do that using workflow notifications, but that's not working.

I appreciate your help.

    Hi Ana,

    It could be a setting in Office 365. I thought that there is a setting on users which allows to send impersonated email or not. Contact your system administrator for an account which is setup to be used as SMTP account or ask to get your settings changed.

    Hi,

    I did these steps:

    1.  community.dynamics.com/.../want-notification-for-po-approval-to-submitter-workflow-originator (as QianQW said).
    2. I did steps 1 and 2 from here. On Email parameters > SMTP Settings I have this configuration (I use my user name and password):

    When I try to test my email I get this error:

    Am I missing something?

    Please check if all settings are done.

    community.dynamics.com/.../want-notification-for-po-approval-to-submitter-workflow-originator

    Note: The paths in the blog are in Finance, in Human Resource the paths may be different, they are all in the module System administration.

    Hi Ana,

    Can you share in detail  your attempts to send the email via workflow notifications? What setup have you done in the email parameters, on the user and in the workflow configuration?

    Is the email distributor batch running?
