Hope you are doing good. I would like to get some insight related deferral standard function in BC,
As I have tried all the deferral setup, but still can’t find out how can I achieve to get my amortization’s posting date always end of month date.
Example: in December 2024 I buy subscriptions usd 1,200 for 1 year, I need my accounting wise to amortize it monthly, usd 100/month.
When I post this transactions, it will be:
Posting date: 27/12/24
‘Deferral account’ (dr) 1200
Bank (cr) 1200
Deferral entries:
31/12/24
Subscriptions expense (dr) 100
Deferral account (cr) 100
31/1/25
Subscriptions expense (dr) 100
Deferral account (cr) 100
28/2/25
Subscriptions expense (dr) 100
Deferral account (cr) 100
