Inventory Transactions Failing saying qty or cost going negative

For some reason, this problem has started and is getting worse. Various inventory transactions are failing with the message that qty or cost for the site will go negative. Transfers, issues, etc. I've been doing this a while and everything I see shows plenty of qty. It even happens when I move X from one site/location to another and the exact same X back. Oddly, it seems to only fail in one direction, so that's something. I've checked itemsite, lotsermst, location, item and site setup, but I cannot for the life of me find what's causing it. I've done a transfer batch of two SKUs, one that works and one that doesn't, and I've compared everything I can think of between the two SKUs and I don't see anything different about them.

Anybody run into something similar?
