Depreciation button grayed out(poweruser)

Posted on by 2,305

I have a user who's Depreciation button is grayed out even though she is a poweruser. She initially ran the depreciation but was kicked out of GP due to some .NET error. When she got back in, her depreciation button was grayed out. I have tried running a Grant.sql against the dynamics and company database but didn't do anything. I have also tried running CheckLinks on all financials tables hoping it would catch something.

It doesn't matter which computer she logs into, it is tied to her GP user profile.

We are on GP2013(12.00.1538).

Has anyone run into this issue before? If so, is there a fix?

Thank you,

Jae

    Hello Leslie,

I apologize for the late update, this one has been resolved. It was the FA40203 table that needed to be deleted for that user.

    Thank you for your help.

    Another thought,

Did the depreciation routine ever finish? I re-read your question and it kind of looks like she was kicked out during a depreciation run. Is that true?

    Are you using field-level security?
