Business Card Scanner Customization

Hi All,

Its been time that Business card scanner feature has been introduced and working. Doing so we have realized that the scanner feature works well with certain card types and fonts. It also recognizes some text to match the fields for eg. if the card contains cell : ZZZ-XXX-YYYY format if recognizes the phone whereas some cards contain office : ZZZ-XXX-YYYY format. So will it be possible to customize the image recognition with certain texts rather than single text which will make it reliable scanning feature . Please suggest.

    Hi partner,

    At present, we could only customeize the field mappings for business card canner.

    The scanner works by getting data from the literal information on a business card, like "phone","name".

    If you want business card scanners to be smarter, you could raise an idea to Microsoft.
