Long delay while closing sessions in USD, contact session is freezing

If I open several sessions in USD (all of them simply opening a contact) and then attempt to close one of these sessions all of USD freezes for as long as 60 seconds. I am unable to view other session tabs, click on any navigation buttons or use any other part of USD during this time. I attempted to use the debugger to determine where this problem was occurring and I notice it always happens on the SessionClosed of the Sessions Tabs hosted control. However, I can see no way to get around this issue
It is hard to answer your issue without more details ... some things to check.
Have you looked at what actions are running when a session closes. You should be able to see this in the debugger;

You may have some actions that aren't needed that are slowing things down!
Assuming that contact sessions are freezing at random points. You will probably need to identify what is happening when this happens. If that is difficult. Try turning on verbose logging at that will help collect some additional data.
