Dear all,
Kindly assist me in resolving the issue am having when I tried to post the transactions in all my Journal Batches. Please find below the error message given me in my Journal batch named JONAH for instance.
"Gen. Posting Type must not be in Gen. Journal Line: Journal Template Name=PAYMENT, Journal Batch Name=JONAH, Line No.=60000"
I will be grateful to receive the solution for this, My email is kunleadenuga@live.com
If the journal is for receiving or paying out cash it is either sales or purchase related. These are the choices for the "Gen. Posting Type" field mentioned in the error message. The error mentions line 60000 which could be the 6th line in the journal. Check the values of that line.
