Hi,

I had created entity with 2 fields,

i am trying to configure the dual write for that entity getting the below error.

"poject validation failed. SourceEntitySchema: Sample types doesn't have primary company field set and DestinationEntitySchema: cr165_sampletypeses has a primaryCompanyField set to cr165_companyid.cdm_companycode. Dual-write only supports mapping between cross-company entities or company-specific entities from both sides..keys are missing for either AX or CRM.keys are missing for either CRM or AX".

How we can solve this.

I have seen this error for multiple times before and was fixed by the Microsoft Engineering team by correcting the mapping. You may want to open a support ticket with MS to troubleshoot and fix this as it needs some thorough investigation from FnO along with CRM. Also, please take a look at docs.microsoft.com/.../define-alternate-keys-reference-records before opening a ticket.

For each and every custom entity we can't create a support ticket, is there any standard way to give mapping and adding integration key

Hi Veer,

Did you mange to figure out what to do for this? I am experiencing the same issue.

It's trying to say to fix up the Legal Entity to cdm_company. but not sure how's that supposed to be done.

For anyone wondering I managed to solve the issue that I was facing.

In the Power Platform where created the custom entity create a lookup field to cdm_company if you haven't already.

In the key section, add a key with both cdm_company and any other keys that might be required from F&O.

adding the key field automatically adds integration key in the Dual Write page setup.

That way the Data Area Id of the F&O entity will match with Power Platform cdm_company lookup field of the custom entity.
