[HELP] Two MS Dynamics GP on one MS SQL Server

Posted on by 25
Hello everyone. Is there a way to install MS Dynamics GP 10.0 using other database rather than "Dynamics"? Dynamics database is already in use in our system :( When I install GP 10.0 in Data Base input field there is "Dynamics" name grayed out. I can't change the Database name to anything else. So If I proceed GP 10.0 would not function later on since it uses wrong existing database (throws stored procedures errors and other sql-related). Please help. System: MS Windows 2003 server R2 SP2; SQL Server: MS SQL 2005;

    You can have more than 1 dynamics database on the same server, but you will need more than 1 instance of sql server installed on the server.
