Hello Team,

Right now we are using the web service of Item and in that the value of Unit Price is coming in one decimal in the case of .10 or any other value which contain zero after the point result .1

But whenever value does not contain zero after the point like 21.15 at that time we receiving the proper value with double decimal 21.15.

Also checked the G/L setup for the Rounding Decimal it also contain two decimal.

So, How we can get the proper value with two decimal? even if the value contain zero after the point?

Example of expected result:

In the Business Central 10.10

Expected: 10.1

below are screen shot.

    Hi,

I can reproduce the same behavior with web services only. In the Business Central UI (web client), the value displays correctly. I will check internally the background of this behavior. Thank you.

    Hi Harsh,

This is by design when it comes to reading data with API/SOAP/OData based on the OpenAPI specification.
WebClient UI is different, it's for user interaction unlike web services which are non-interactive services.

On the other hand, you can use POST with an API for example and enter the Unit Price as 10.10, the result of that POST request will be 10.1 but if you go back to the WebClient UI in BC, the value will be correctly shown as 10.10 that you inserted.
