Can't configure keys to export data Dynamics HR

Hi Folks ;)

This is what i see:

I already did:

refresh entity list (at least 5 times)
check if the list is been updated correctly
i try to publish entity list but the same error occur any time ' Configuration key 'HcmLeaveLegacy' is disabled on entity 'Absence codes'. The tables and fields in the data entity will not be available for use in data management '

The same problem occurs for some other entitiesn not only for 'Absence codes'

I'm literally STRUGGLING with this data export. The question are:

How can i modify the key configuration status or key configuration to let me export data ?

Is this a license problem ?

Is there another way to do that ?

Hi Antonio,

I faced this issue couple of times. I deleted the entity and corresponding export job where the entity is used and refresh the entity list. This will solve your problem.

Another option is to use Excel workbook designer to get data in excel.

Note: If you manually change the configuration key then you will not be able to export data and receive an error configuration key.

Hi my friend,

The problem is that if i delete this entity they are lost ! I need to preserve the data. Or maybe if you delete them and refresh the entity list will reset himself ?

If you delete them and refresh then it will reset to the original.

I used this technique most of the time and It worked for me.

You can also use excel workbook to get the data.

Under system admin > Links > Office integration. You can find excel workbook designer.

Where you can enter the entity and get all your data from the system.

it doesn't work, I'm not so far to give up. the mapping of the entity doesn't match with the target, i try to generate a new source map and it seems to works well but the import failed. keep telling me that certain fields of the entity are non editable and remand me to the configuration key that are modifiable. Maybe a solution is to fire all the environment and restart everything. What do you think ?

I am not sure where you can restart the service by yourself. If not then please create a support ticket to restart your environment and try again. Once the environment is restarted then it should work,
