How to synchronize sales order line item tracking and purchase order line item tracking?

Hi Experts,

I have a scenario to copy with drop shipment, when a purchase order has a drop ship line from a sales order and this line is a lot item, when i try to modify this line item tracking from purchase order entry and close this entry, there will be a window pop-up to ask me whether need to synchronize sales order line item tracking, so is there any code unit implement this synchronize process?

There's no this as standard, you need a custom implementation.

Due to the nature of drop shipments, if you set item tracking on the purchase, you will get the option to synchronize the sales side with same item tracking. You can refer to SynchronizeLinkedSources function in Item Tracking lines page (Page 6510). Going further, if you ever need to customize this, I would suggest you to extend the existing functionality as an extension by subscribing to the OnAfterSynchronizeLinkedSources event where you can add your custom logic.
