Assembly BOM on Sales Document - Show Child Components

Hi All

Is there a way to enter selling prices for Assembly BOM components and/or show components on Sales order and print documents.

Say you have a simple BOM:

Parent 1

            Child A   $10

            Child B   $15

In this case, we select Parent 1 to a sales order, the order will have two lines

         Child A   $10

         Child B   $15

In other words, explode the BOM and show on sales documents

The order confirmation report has the principal components needed. It does not show a price as you typically roll up the price into the sales line.

Boolean on the request page for show assembly information will activate the dataitem needed.

    Samantha,

If I follow you correctly, you want to explode the Assembly BOM on the Sales Lines after entering the Assembly Item. Follow these steps:

The actions of Sales Order line (or lines in general in BC) are located just above the lines section.

    1) click on the More Options Action:

    2) Other actions will appear. Click on Line > Functions > Explode BOM

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Hi, just a other question about BOM

If i want it to be explode when i select the product, i can't have this in the BC parameters.

So i will do it in AL

What is the function who explode the BOM ? How can i call it from the code ?
