Send Notifications to approver user instantly but not on weekends.

Hi experts,

I have a specific problem related to Notification Schedule in business central.

When I select occurrence to daily there is frequency of number of days when to send notification and a Time field when to send notifications.

But when I select occurrence to Instantly we don't have any frequency or setting for sending notification only on weekdays.

Is it possible to have recurrence Instantly but notification should not be sent on weekends, and the notification came on weekends should come collectively on coming Monday.

Hi, if you use this function, you need to confirm whether Nonworking is set in the Base Calendar Card.

Hi Abdullah,

I believe this issue can be handled functionally.

If you remove the time from "Time" field in Notification Schedule page.
Notification will will be sent Instantly regarding configuration of occurrence (Weekday, Weekends)

PS: I'm not sure about collectively receiving notifications on next working day. You can test this by yourself.

Hi,

Check Schedule of Job queue for codeunit - Notification Entry Dispatcher.

Based on schedule of this codeunit, notifications are sent. This codeunit is used to sent all Approval notification entries.
