Allow Edit On Chrome of documents in CRM

Good Day,

I have a user who is accessing CRM via chrome,with integration to share point,this is dynamics CRM 365 onpremesis and Sharepoint 2013 Onprem.

When a user open a document within CRM the document automatically downloads instead of just opening and allowing user to edit and save without saving it on the local machine,change and then replace document.

This is only happening on chrome and automatically download in unchecked,please do not advise to use internet explorer since this is not an option for the user.

What I need to do is allow user to edit the word document on chrome without automatically downloading and allow save to save this to the file on CRM as opened with the new modified on date,this happens on internet explorer but not on chrome.

Hi,

Though this issue is purely related to CHrome browser, you will get better response on browser or Chrome forums. I quick web research returned the below links which may helps you.
