Creating a Revenue Recognition Report from GP10 in Project Accounting

Posted on by 60

Hi,

I am using GP and Sharperlight alongside SQL Server Management Studio and was wondering if anyone had advice on the best ways to build a Project Accounting Revenue Recognition Report from Dynamics GP 10 using SQL?

I have been advised to try using the tables SVC00600, SVC00601 and SVC00604 but our system does not populate these tables?

Has anyone got any experience of building a similar report?

All advice greatly received.

Thanks.

    PLGrim,

Tables with the SVC prefix are related to the Field Service series. Tables with the PA prefix are related to the Project Accounting series.

Here is a link to table references for the PA (Project Accounting) Series:

If your initial question mentioned Contracts, this could have caused some confusion, as both the Field Services and Project Accounting series involve Contracts. Since the SVC tables are not being populated, you are likely not using the Field Service series.

Try using the table references for the Project Accounting Series to develop your report.
