I recently purchased GP 10.0 for business needs and I have absolutely no idea how to go pass install. I keep getting to part about server and I have no idea how to move foward
is there anyone who can help us out with installation of the product ASAP
As everyone has mentioned, we stopped supporting Dynamics GP 10.0 back in Oct, 2017, so it's curious as someone is still selling it.
The 'sa' you are being asked for, is the system admin account that is created when SQL Server is installed.
You'll need a SQL Server instance installed before you can really do anything with Dynamics GP, as you'll need to create the system and company databases for Dynamics GP onto SQL Server, through GP Utilities.

That is SQL asking for that. Did you install SQL?
You purchased GP 10 recently? It is not available for sale online. You will need a W2003 server with SQL 2008 to run it. It can be done but it is long been unsupported. You cannot install it on W2016, W019 or W2022 server. I hope you did not pay much for this. Either Bill or myself or others can help with this.
What did you purchase?
Did you only purchase the GP 10.0 software code? Did you get anything else?
Did they provide any of SQL Server?
To get past the problem you are having, you will need to have a fully functional SQL Server, in which you will be able to create the various company databases and the system admin (sa) password.

Yes we were told about GP and I saw it online and purchased it thinking ill give it a shot but I am not able to move past the install. its asking for USER ID = sa and I have no idea what password to use ?

GP 10.0 was discontinued a decade ago. Are you sure you do not mean GP 18.x.
