The first thing to do is checking event logs on the AOS server.
I see it unlikely that a problem with your AOS server is responsibility of Microsoft, but if you want to check it with Microsoft, create a support request. This is just a community forum; we can't start doing investigation on Microsoft's side. But I doubt they would want to invest any time into it, at least not until you do investigation on your side and find something that suggests that the problem was related to a service provided by Microsoft.
Your main focus should be the thing that failed: your AOS server or communication with it.
By the way, never forget to mention your version of AX. This forum even forces you to pick a version; unortunately, you selected "Don't know".
Thank you for the response. We were not able to check the services as it was just more like a couple of minutes. By the time, we were able to check that all users from different locations experienced the same, the application is up as they relaunch. We would just like to know if it was just a hiccup or a brief activity on Microsoft's side.
Did you check whether the AX AOS service is running or not? also please verify your client configuration whether it is pointing to right AOS and port number
