Field Service Mobile App Server Synchronization Error

Posted on by 676

Hi,

I am facing this error in Field Service Mobile App when I change the status of a booking from 'Scheduled' to 'Completed' and the App synchronizes with the CRM server. The error is:

"User with ID xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx does not have Update permissions for the msdyn_substatus attribute in the ,msdyn_workorder entity."

And the app doesn't synchronizes with the CRM Server. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

    Hi Mohd!

I've struggled with the same problem as you.

The app constantly told me that my user didn't have the right permissions.

This is how I solved it:

When I created the user, I gave him the "Field Service - Resource" role.

But in my Customizations > Field Security Profiles > "Field Service - Resource Role":

This "Users" list was empty. So I added my user here, saved, published...

    Problem was solved. :)

    Hi Mark,

The issue comes out to be with work order sub-status. I just gave the write privilege to user scope for work order sub-status. But still the server error exists for the same.

    Hi Mohd

For the security role that you are using - go to custom entities

Then make sure that the role has update permissions
