econnect tapoline Po for non-inventoried item

Posted on by 92
  • I need to create PO's for non-inventory items using econnect:

  •   IV module is not registered. Customer is using project accounting module.

  • I am getting errors related to "LOCNCODE"

If not registered for IV, LOCNCODE should not be required ....

any ideas how to bypass this issue?

Thanks

    Hi Beat,

    Yes I checked the documentation.

It states that the default value for LOCNCODE  is used ...which is string empty "".

as mentioned the company is using only project-accounting , inventory module is not setup.

However I found the workaround. I just created a dummy site .   Once I set it up miraculously the code was working... Conclusion a default value of "" for LOCNCODE  crashes taPOline .

    Hi Jutta,

Have you checked the values that needs to be passed to the taPOline eConnect statement ?

Check this reference from Microsoft : https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff623940.aspx

There is a field NONINVEN that requires to be set to 1=Non-inventory item.. by default it's 0.
