When the user tries to submit the workflow after Purchase requisition, the workflow is not complete and stopped with this error.
Hi DNJ,
The workflow processing job tries to find an user as approver for the workflow. In case there is no user found, you can get this error. You have to review the setup of the workflow if there is a wrong setting. If you can't find the error yourself, then please tell us how this workflow is configured for the user assignment.
where I can find out the USer assignment? is it under workflow?
Looks like you are using hierarchy assignment type for approval .
Check your workflow configuration which hierarchy is used. Hierarchy is defined based on positions and on position we define worker and its approver in reports to or relation ship tab.
Looks like i this case either position is missing or approver on position for submitter.

Yes, you need to open the active workflow configuration settings from the setup section. Then you can review what has been setup.
Please confirm first that whether you are using user as approval in workflow, or using hierarchy as approval in workflow
