Hi,
Iam running into an upgrade issue that I’ve never seen before.
I’m starting out with GP 12.00.1745 (2013 R2) and moving to GP 16.00.0552 (2016 R2). That isn’t a direct upgrade path so I have to upgrade to something better than 12.00.1826. I’ve chosen the 2015 year end update, 12.00.2038, in part because it was readily available from GP Customer Source.
So to summarize, my planned upgrade path is GP12.00.1745 -> GP12.00.2038 -> GP16.00.0552.
Everything is great until I run GP Utils for 2016. I log in successfully but when GP Utils is checking the DB versions I get the following message:
"there was a problem ascertaining product version information. Microsoft Dynamics GP Utilities will now exit. Please check the duinstall.log file for more information.
uinstall.log complains that products 309 and 414 are not supported for upgrade at their installed versions:

So I’m stuck. I’m not sure how I should upgrade the installed version of these products. GP Utils for 2013 says that all DBs are at their current and correct level for 12.00.2038.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Regards,
Deborah
