Unable to sign into portal as an admin

I've recently set up a trial for the new portal feature in dynamics 365. I've read a lot of documentation and have things up and running. I can configure portal features in dynamics, and I can view the sample custom portal. My issue is that when I sign in through the portal I cannot edit the UI of the portal, so I cannot surface any crm data nor can I create the appropriate naviagtion. It's my understanding that when I sign in using the "Azure AD" button, I should be signed in as an admin. Clicking this button does sign me in, but I cannot edit things. My profile pages tells me to confirm my email, but upon clicking the "Confirm Email" button, I get the following error: 

"We're sorry, but something went wrong. Error ID # [223485af-e610-4f6c-8cf5-2625b5cb772d]"

Any ideas on how to get this last piece working? Am I likely missing a step in my setup? Or failing to give myself the proper security role/priviliges? Thanks for any help.

    Hi,

            you are right dude,  when you click on Azure AD you log-in as  a Admin with the Editing tool. sometimes it doesn't.

    To Enable this tool , go to portal >Web Roles > Administrator > Contacts (from options)

    you will get Contact associated view > add Existing contact (ie. admin contact )

    The contact can now customize the portal.

    Thanks for your reply. So do I need to create a contact for myself and make the email address my CRM email address? And then, what mode do I use to sign in? Azure AD? Or local?

    Hello,

    You can confirm the adress mail via CRM  open the contact you are using to connect, then change the form to Portal Contact, then in Authentication Web tab you check the field Mail address checked.

    You have to give this contact the WebRole "Administrator", this will let you to modifyyour portal via the web site.
