How do you do this - Dummies Guide needed

CRM 2016 on-premisis

I have a dashboard with 5 panes. I would like to refresh 4 of those panes on individual timers. I have asked this question many moons ago and am no further forward.

Please, when trying to help, I already know how to refresh the entire dashboard on a timer, but that is not what I am looking to do.

For example, if someone could walk me through the below, I might be able to learn and apply

Pane 1, has a system chart on a custom entity. I have been directed to various threads in the past that tell me to use a web resource, but how do I get a system chart into a web resource?. I would like to know if either of the two options are possible, and some help in achieving it

1. Pane 1 has a system chart. How to refresh pane 1 only and not the remainder of the dashboard

2. Pane 1 has a system chart. Refresh the chart ( pane 1 only ) when any records in the custom entity are added or changed

If anybody has done anything like this previous, please could you help ( and teach )
