Filter field value of form submission

Posted on by 68
Hi there

Is it possible to make a dashboard or a view which can filter the field values of a form submission in RTM forms?

Many thanks!

This is still not resolved. We need to create a system view / dashboard for our sales reps to see if their contacts have submitted a form. Unfortunately, it's not manageable and you can't filter any contact information....

    Hi @Leah Ju

Thank you for your response. Even though I am a System-Admin I can't add any views in the Power App. If I want to add a new view in the *Field Submission" Entity, the button is grayed out.

    Is this a known issue?

    Hi jaa,
There really is no OOB view to use directly.
You need to manually add these columns to the view, as to whether it's a system view or a personal view?
    It depends on your role:
If you are a system administrator you can go ahead and customise the system view as well.
If not, you will need to create a personal view.
I hope you can mark my answer verified if it is helpful! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah

    Hi Leah

Thank you for your explanation. It seems like I can only create a personalized view and no system view? Is this correct?

    Hi jaa,
This involves 3 tables: Field submission, form submission and form.
    Relationship:
So you can create one view based on the field submission table:
--Add' form submission' lookup column, and 'form' lookup column from the related form submission:

Yes! The fields you create should automatically be used for the form. It’s multiple ways to expose it. You could use the fields from the contact/lead entity or use the form submission entity. You just need to know how to navigate the views to find the data. Dashboard it’ll be tough but you could have more flexibility by doing a KPI report in power bi. A lot of times having the view set is more than enough.
