Validating User Password with VST

I hope I'm not asking what has already been answered somewhere....I am 
working on an integration where the salesperson would potentially be required 
to enter their user password for approval for certain things.  

I have a form created that displays the User ID and then they can enter 
their user password.  How do I validate that the user password is correct 
before allowing them to proceed in the integration?  

I found a global "GetUserPasswordForSSO" and also found the 
"SQLPasswordUnencrypted" but I don't know if either of these will work.

    Aaron,

    You should be able to use the GP Connection Library to do this.  There's a post on my blog explaining how I have used this to integrate VST forms with GP.
