Yep - We're directing to shared drives and it still doesn't like it....
Option 1: Use the Links function. As you've mentioned, you've used it but are getting broken links. That's because the link probably refers to a path on a specific user's workstation (like their C drive). A good practice to adopt when using links is that everybody uploads the files to a web resource (OneDrive, etc.), or to a network drive (if using this, either use the absolute path like "\\companyshare\navdocuments", or ensure that everyone's computer refers to this shared location with the same drive letter ("X:\" on everyone's machine).
Option 2: Use Zetadocs Express (your NAV license includes this, but you will need to download and install/configure it separately). This tool allows you add a Document capture factbox on desired pages such as the Vendor card, and you can drag and drop one or more PDF, Office documents, e-mail and other attachments. These are then stored on SharePoint, SharePoint Online or a network archive (depending on how you've configured Zetadocs Express).
I hope this helps. If this response has answered your question, please take a moment to verify it by clicking Yes next to "Did this answer your question?"
That is the first thing we tried, however every single file path we used came up as invalid address...
