Email Customer Statement

ReportReport

Hello,

i had been using BC email documents from PO and other posted documents without problem. But i just could not get the system to prompt the email option for Customer Statement. I select the customer > Report > Statement and change the Report Options to Email (I had tried sending to PDF and the report was generated with records) and select PRINT. The print statement window disappear but no email was sent. Anyway, the system also did not prompt me to enter the email id for the recipient like the one shown for PO. Anyone had tried this can advise why i could not get this done?

Thanking in advance.

I had updated the Customer Card > Navigate > Document Layout with the Customer Statement (Report ID 1316) and Email Address. Also updated Report Selection - Sales > Usage - Customer Statement with Report ID 1316. In the Customer Statement print, there are 4 buttons > Send to..., Print, Preview, Cancel. Which button is used to send email? I chosen all of them, Send To will prompt me whether is PDF or Word; depending on what i chose, it will save in the folder. Print will fire up the Printing to printer window while Preview will show the Statement on the screen. Of course, cancel will just close up the Edit - Standard Statement window. Really need someone to help :)

    Hi,

    Firstly, thanks for your response.

    I had:

    1. Setup email > I am not sure where you meant by setup email. I had setup SMTP and had also successfully email other documents such as Posted Invoice and Purchase Order. System will prompt up who to email to where i will type my email address and a email will be sent to me.

    2. SMTP Setup - Done and tested

    3. Customer Card - Document sending profile > had been revised to follow identical as your captured window

    4. Customer Card > Document Layout - customer statement > chosen 1316 and type my email address

    5. Report Selection - Sales > Customer Statement > select 1316 as well

When chose Customer Card > Report > Statement, exactly which button should i click for system to generate email? Send To or Print? When i click send to, it prompt whether PDF or Word and once i chosen, it will save to folder.

Where else do i missed out?

    Grateful for all assistance. Thanks
