Customer Source Login Problem

Posted on by 380

I'm trying to access Customer Source and when I press Accept for the Online Agreement it sends me to an error page that states "An unexpected error occurred." with some error code.  Pressing Decline seems to work fine, though.  Also, the agreement doesn't show up and I just installed the latest acrobat standard and reader.  Any suggestions?

Regards,

Jackie Bell

    Debbiea,

Sorry I didn't realize I was signedin with my test account DH. Let me do some asking around to see if anyone else has run into this issue.

Hi DH.  I just tried clearing the browser cache.  Didn't help the problem.

I only have the one WLID and am not using it for anything else.

As I mentioned earlier, Chrome is giving me similar results.  Same behavior but the message says "This webpage is not available."  Firefox works, however.

    Any other ideas?

    Debbiea,

So your using the correct link to access CustomerSource. I am running Win7 with the same version of IE9 and I am able to access CustomerSource. Have you tried clearing your browser cache? Internet options> General> Browsing History> delete> Select the Temporary Internet files, cookies, History, Download history, form data, passwords, Active x. > delete. Now try to access CustomerSource again. If that doesn't work make sure your not logged in with another WLID/ Microsoft Account say on messenger/skype.

    Let me know the results.

    RE: Customer Source Login Problem

Hi Nick.  I'm having the same problem that Dean has with getting into CustomerSource from IE.  I'm a long-time user but, after getting a new computer with Win 7 & IE 9.0.8112.16421, I can no longer access CustomerSource.  (By the way, when I set up my new computer, I moved all of my IE bookmarks from the other machine which was also Win 7 and IE 9.)

    The link I'm using:

    www.microsoft.com/.../default.aspx

From this page, I'm clicking on the   Sign In To CustomerSource button and it links to mbs.microsoft.com/customersource

but I get the "Internet Explorer Cannot Display the Webpage" message.

The problem exists with both IE and Chrome.  I can get to CustomerSource via Firefox, however.

    Dean,

Could you please provide me with the url your using to access CustomerSource? Also have you accessed CustomerSource before?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
