Resource Utilisation Dashboard

Hi Field Service Family, 

I am Researching the best way to show Resource Utilisation on the fly as the Schedule Board is not always refreshed and shows at individual level. Would there be any standard feature or configuration I have missed? 

The main goal is in a snapshot has today's or this week utilisation numbers collectively or in set group of resources. I do not see that in Dynamics 365 Field Service currency Schedule Board. 

Any insight in this would be awesome.

    The schedule board refresh has a setting. I believe the default is every 30 seconds.  Are you trying to see the utilization of a crew or resource pool?

    Hi Scott, 

    Thanks for the reply. The Schedule Board has the individual Resource Utilization/capacity for the day. But the idea here we are trying to achieve is to

    • See All Resource Utilisation for the Day / week Collectively in form of Dashboard or View Charts etc..

    Ina snapshot the Management would like to see at 13:00 how we are on utilising all Electricians, Plumbers as well as the overall workforce utilisation regardless of key skill area.

    Would we have an entity holding these figures? or any know automation I can create to calculate those?

    Utilization is a variety of factors / entities that need to be reviewed.  To see overall utilization of a resource you need to look at 1) their work calendar / setup and 2) their bookable resource bookings.  If they are scheduled to work 8 hours per day then you can then see how many hours they are booked for thru Bookings and calculate utilization.  I may have a solution file for you on it.  Let me check.
