For our client , we have GP running in Azure vm. The VM is on its own domain separate from the client domain.
We have configured the client to access GP via the Web client. All users access GP using Active directory logins without an SQL login.
Version of GP is GP2016.
We have workflow configured. Users can submit documents and the email is going to the correct approver. Web services is installed. and functioning inside the domain. (if I rdp to the web server).
I want to be able to approve from an email. The link does not have the FQDN.
If I manually replace the weblink containing the server name with the FQDN then I can approve the document without logging into GP. (because I also created a rule in azure to allow call)
Since I can do it manually, How can I get the FQDN to be added so that the weblink contains the FQDN?
During the install of webservices, I dont' see a logical place to put in the FQDN.
I do see that there are about 5 or 6 config files in for Web services....C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics\GPWebServices\ServiceConfigs\ that have the http://servername:48620 reference.
Again, I want the FQDN to be part of the email that is sent for workflow approvals
