Making a field editable with "RequestNewValueForAField"

So i want to change a field from non-editable to editable on the "posted sales invoices" page. Now At the moment I have it working by simply just saying in the code Editable = true;. Now this only works because my license is in the database so if i'd use a license if one of the customers it wouldn't work. Now i've heard i should use "RequestNewValueForAField" and add some permissions to a codeunit on the "sales invoice" table. Now i've looked but so far i haven't figured out on how to implement this. Anyone who know and can explain on how to do this?

Thanks in advance.

There is a restriction on the posted tables due to audit purpose. Customers are not supposed to edit the posted table directly. Also because there is no validation on posted tables.

The only way to do it is using a codeunit with the permission built in it.

For reference, check Page 130 Posted Sales Shipment on the "Package Tracking No." field. You will see that the OnModify page call codeunit "Shipment Header - Edit".
