Problem with Case not moving from one stage to the other in Microsoft CRM

Posted on by 110

Hi

Guys I have a problem with my case solution, firstly I have programmed the business process flow and workflow to work accordingly but it doesn't move to next stage. I decided to have a second workflow than it gave me an error after I have completed entering my details when i save it it gives an error saying there is a business process error and it cant save, which is very strange because if it was the business workflow it would not save or activate it if it had errors, anybody had the same problem and manged to find a solution??

    Hi Shahbaaz Ansari

I am working on a case in Microsoft CRM and as as expected when you save a case on one stage it is supposed to move to next stage automatically I Configured my workflow and business Process flows to work accordingly, it is working on the cloud but not On-Prem, I download this workflow tool-msdyncrmWorkflowTools (1.0.51.1), which allows to move to next stage but it is failing On-prem. The previous workflow tool was working but it had phased out and needed an update but when i download this latest version the function to move to the next stage automatically had stopped moving, anybody with a solution.?

You might have to ask the developers of that custom workflow step to see which versions of D365 it works on.

Okay, that's new. Because I download a process stage called msdyncrmWorkflowTools (1.0.51.1), which has the functionality to enable it to move, so is this not the case or does Microsoft still has to enable my On-Prem functionality for my case to move to the next stage??

I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but if Microsoft hasn't enabled the functionality, you're not going to be able to use it.

I'm pretty sure that process won't work on-premises, it was functionality only added to D365 Online.
