We currently have a new CRM 2016 deployement. (The former deployment was CRM 4). The new and old deployments are in the let's say n.local domain. The users however a located in the o.local domain. When using a browser users are able to logon to CRM. When using the CRM Outlook plugin users can't logon. In the former situation when using CRM 4, users where able to logon using the CRM plugin for Outlook.

The client computer has an upgrade version of the CRM Outlook plugin (version 8.0.0.1088).

The is a one-way trust, where n.local is trusting o.local.

We searched the internet for possible solutions and it was suggested to configure IFD (and ADFS).

But my question is if there are the other solutions to this issue?

Any help would be appreciated.
