I have some strange problems in field service and could use some help please:
1) when an install is completed it automatically changes the status of it to cancelled instead of active, what's going on here?
2) Kind of similar to 1, When an install is complete, it changes the booking status from open-complete instead of open-scheduled.

What have you installed? Which entity record has had its status changed?
Maybe you can use Audit feature to check who change these records:
--opening one form, Related tab -> Audit History to view single record:
--Settings > Audtiting > Audit Summary view to view all audit logs:
