What would cause some assets to have a Partially Open status? The only thing I noticed on these assets is that they have a Date Deleted.

If you retired a portion of an asset this will create a new asset with a Status of Retired. If you then Retire Undo, the retired asset is added back to the original asset leaving the new inactive asset in a status of Partial Open.
