    You'll find a huge amount of information about query optimization on the internet.
     
    Because you're asking in D365 F&O forum and not in a SQL Server forum, you likely want to use the query inside F&O. If so, start by changing the query to match what F&O would use, otherwise you may be optimizing a wrong thing. I mean that you forget DataAreaId and Partition fields.
     
    When you have the query, the first thing I would look at is the query execution plan.
